As a child I like to play I like to move, to melt To be unconfined To express myself all the time With shouts of joy, Laughter full of life, To jump, dance, and sing To talk about anything To wear a t-shirt and blue jeans As I engage the splendor of the day Before the blue skies fade away And the children cease to play I want to know the heights and altitudes That love has got! For a pair of souls intertwining In constant renewal Is the pinnacle of love's rewarding approval Thus in assessing potential relationships It's a soul tie for which I cry Beyond sexual conquest and sportsmanship.
Many like to play To toy with women's hearts But from this childish behavior I must depart For I've been there and done it Received nothing from it Benefited nothing by it Therefore now must rise above it
Like an eagle I must fly higher Soar into the friendly skies Drawing near to my destiny Which is within and nearby I have no time to cry Because of incongruent people Who kiss and lie Like Judas the betrayer Such deceivers come with many layers Layers of lies and deception Moving further toward personal regression Continually self-centered and selfish Feeding on laughter and lies Which they do dish Out to their victims Upon whom they prey These sexual predators Sick ungodly bastards Taking everything Imparting nothing God awake and transform them To become something.
A consumeristic society We surely have become From love's blessing of commiment We now run Love has been reduced to lust Marriage to a contract for us Divorce a tool to leverage Whenever we don't get our way Or perhaps leave when we want to play
What dear God Has this world become Love itself seems no more fun I can't believe This which I behold Will it be worse When I am old?
Nevertheless As for myself I prepare my way Purpose in my heart To live differently each day To love genuinely Live authentically Liberate humanity From the disease of self And embrace true love My heart's health.
